Roaring Into Robots: What’s NeXT

This exciting class teaches you how to build and program the LEGO® Mindstorms® NXT robots, the coolest robot available. You will use your new skills to meet such challenges as reacting to intruders, moving objects to different locations, stinging an intruder with a robot tail, or beating your opponent at LEGO® Sumo, a KIT favorite.

You don’t need any experience with robotics or programming to begin your robotic adventure. Students who took our robotics After School Class can take this for a more solid foundation or move on to the Advanced Robot Challenges

All robot classes will be taught with the new LEGO® Mindstorms® NXT robot. The new robot system includes a new programming language, a new building system, and new sensors, including a sound sensor and ultrasonic sensor.
